Dr. Schroeder has a private, sole consultation practice in Adult Psychiatry. Her specialty is Women's Health and the Ob/Gyn-Psychiatry interface. She offers extended evaluations and consultations by referral from health-care providers and psychotherapists. After meeting, Dr. Schroeder and the client will design a treatment strategy together.
With a signed authorization, Dr. Schroeder can communicate with the referring professional by phone. Though treatment implementation is carried out by the patient and her primary care provider, Dr. Schroeder is available as an advocate to her patients during treatment. After the consultation, Dr. Schroeder can assist with referrals for ongoing psychotherapy or medication management if there is an interest.
